Merging The Oort Chronicles & The Starchild Saga

Beyond the Beyond: Penetrating the Multiverse brings together The Oort Chronicles & The Starchild Saga, with chapters alternating between Chronicles and Saga, until they merge into a new storyline in the final chapters. 

In The Oort Chronicles following the destruction of the Keid Sphere, Thorpe sets forth on the giant starship Andromeda with a mixed crew of 10,000 for an area of deep space called the Cosmic Microwave Background Cold Spot. The saurian tribe members they rescued from the ill-fated Keid Sphere, with their pterosaur mounts, settle into their new existence on the starship’s landscape side, while Thorpe and his crew strive to bring them into the modern world. 

In The Starchild Saga, Jon Stock, with some of his original crew and several Founders, leaves the Milky Way Galaxy on the starship Starchild II following the trail of the Ectarians who long ago bypassed the Solar System for the Beyond. The Ectarians’ trail leads them toward the constellation Eridanus, pointed at the same Cosmic Microwave Background Cold Spot. 

Finally, when both starships reach the CMB Cold Spot, they discover it is the intersection of two parallel universes. They penetrate the convergence, where they meet each other, with consequences that threaten to overwhelm both universes.
